The CBERS Program was born from a partnership between Brazil and China in the space technical scientific segment. The first satellite of the series, CBERS-1, was successfully launched on October 14, 1999, CBERS-2 on October 21st, 2003, CBERS-3 on December, 2014 and CBERS-4B is expected to be launched in 2016.
